The Consulate General of Bangladesh in Los Angeles provides a range of consular services to expatriate Bangladeshi community and foreign nationals residing in its area of jurisdiction. In addition, the Consulate General complements the efforts of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington DC to advance the economic, cultural, immigration and other interests of Bangladesh in the United States.

The Consulate General is committed to providing efficient, prompt and courteous services. The Consulate General now has a very committed team who are committed to maintaining the quality of the services rendered to our community through professionalism and the spirit of high performance. The team consists of the Consul General Md. Shamsul Haque, Commercial Counsellor Md. Zahidul Haque and Consul Shah Ahmed Shafi.

The jurisdiction of Consulate General of Bangladesh in New York spans over the the following States:

7. Washington
8. Wyoming.

Residents outside the area of jurisdiction of this Consulate General are requested to please contact the respective Bangladesh Missions which cover their State. Consulate General of Bangladesh, New York provides services to the residents of the States of Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont. All other States are serviced by the Consular Section of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington DC.
